Buddies Program is Coming Next Week

The Ashland Barracuda Buddy Program is an opportunity for swimmers to be paired with another swimmer to cheer for and encourage throughout the season. We will do our best to pair older kids with younger kids, but it all depends on who signs up.
We encourage the buddies to find out what events they are swimming and to cheer for each other for at least one of their events at each meet. Additionally, we are providing a time for the buddies to connect in a fun way at the meets.
June 4: Buddy recruitment (make a poster to cheer a new friend on; supplies provided)June 11: Buddy meet and greet. (make a poster to cheer them on; supplies provided)June 17: Make a bracelet for your buddy (supplies provided).June 25: Come up with a Buddy secret handshake.June 2: Play a game with your buddy. July 8: Make a card together for a kid at the Children's Hospital of Richmond.
This is an optional program and by signing up you are indicating that your child would like a buddy and intends to participate. Buddies will be announced by email on June 10.
